Punjab police on Sunday arrested four terrorists of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF), who were planted in Pakistan and Germany, from Chola Sahib village. They received five AK-4 rifles, 4 magazines and 4 rounds of cartridges, four pistols of Chinese-made 5.5 bore and eight magazines and 3 rounds of cartridges, as well as nine hand grenades, five satellite phones, two mobile phones, two wireless sets, and Rs. Police notes were seized. The terrorist organization was planning to carry out attacks in Punjab and neighboring states, police said. Punjab Police have also said that a drone was used to smuggle weapons and communication hardware from the border.

Punjab Police Director General Dinkar Gupta said that the weapons found by these terrorists were suspected to have been recently sent from the border. Gupta also suspects that the Pakistani intelligence agencies are ISI, Pakistan-sponsored jihadists and Khalistan terrorist organizations.

Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has urged the central government to alert the air force and border security forces about the use of drones to smuggle weapons from the border. Meanwhile, the Punjab government has decided to hand over the matter to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
