In Maharashtra, diesel prices have been reduced by Rs 4-6 per liter after petrol. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Twitter.

The government on Thursday announced the reduction of petrol and diesel by two and a half rupees per liter. After this, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had announced that the state government had been paying the price of two and a half rupees. Thus, in Maharashtra, petrol was cheaper by five rupees. Today, Fadnavis today announced the reduction of diesel by a liter of rupees one rupee. Due to this, the state has been cheaper by Rs 4-6 paise. So, the common people who got hit by the fuel price hike were greatly comforted.

Increasing prices of fuel oil in the international market increased fuel prices. To give relief to the common man, the government has decided to reduce the rate of two and a half rupees. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had announced that he would take a press conference.
