bhai vyakti ki Valli: In Pune, ‘Bhaai’ starts with the film
Pu L Though Bhasha was inspired by the film’s “Bhai” based on the life of Deshpande, it is ashamed that Marathi is not getting the theater, although the film has been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the ‘Bhaai’ movie in Pune’s theater has got hit.
Pu L Mahesh Manjrekar, the director of this movie, complains that Bhai, based on the life of Deshpande, does not get a cinematic theater, the ‘Bhai’ movie has got into the movie theaters in Pune. In addition to ‘Bhai’, the show is being played at Sachin Pilgaonkar’s Ekal Screen Theater of ‘Sohala’, ‘Patil’, ‘Thapadia’.
Multiplexes respect Marathi cinema, but in single-screen theater, there are four movies of the day in which the songs are playing. Manjrekar said that he should get a ‘Bhai’ show in single screen theater in other cities including Pune, Mumbai, Nashik. He has asked Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, cultural affairs minister Vinod Tawde to demand the same.
The situation in Pune is different. In Pune, the show has started in Kibelaxmi (formerly Prabhat), Laxminarayan, Rahul, Nilayam, Vijay, Alka, Vasant, Vaibhav or Single Screen Theater, in Pune, and this movie is seen in all the multiplexes in the city. Also, ‘Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai’, ‘Mulshi Pattern’, ‘Mauli’, ‘Nal’ are being showcased in the multiplayer show in the month. In the box office, the films of ‘Sangba’, ‘KGF’, ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Kedarnath’ did not fit Marathi films in Pune.
