When the preparations for the Mumbai Navy’s preparations were completed in the last phase, the Railway Board has given a pleasant start to the Mumbaiites. The Mumbai Urban Development Project (MRUC), which has the capability to change the face of the Mumbai suburban locality, has been approved by the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP-3A), along with the Railway Board. After the approval of the cabinet in the next fortnight, the project will be started.

MUTP-3A is an important project of Railway Minister Piyush Goyal’s special projects. Under the project, 210 major air conditions include the CSMT-Panvel elevated road, Panvel-Virar suburban road, Kalyan-Asangaon fourth corridor, and Kalyan-Badlapur-III-Fourth Road and extension of harbor road.

The state government had recently approved the project. This proposal was submitted by the Railway Board to the Niti Commission for approval. The Nitish Kumar has approved the project. In the next fortnight, the project will be submitted next to the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) and it will get immediate approval. A token amount of one crore rupees was sanctioned for the project in this year’s budget. This will be the beginning of the tender process after the CCEA approval, informed the Railway Board officials.

The state government has agreed to bear the cost of the project with a cost of Rs 54 thousand 777 thousand crores. There were chances of getting involved in the code of conduct in the face of upcoming elections. This led to the immediate approval of the Railway Board and received the project approval. Typically, the tenders have been prepared to start work on open spaces available for the development work of the project and after the approval, the process of sending the tender will be started promptly, Railway officials said.
