The problem of water is increasing all over the world. Due to this, efforts are being made at various levels to cleanse the sea water. In this, the students of IIT Mumbai have added and only seven paise have been successful in purifying one liter of salt water. All the tests have been done and it will be finalized soon.

In cities like Mumbai, there is a shortage of drought in December and many areas of the state are experiencing drought. Water is a precious jewel in many places around the world. Research has been done at various levels for water purification. Some of these experiments were successful. However, pure water obtained from this is very expensive. There is also doubt about his cleanness. While this is happening, Professor and students of NanoStructures Engineering and Modeling Lab in Metallurgical Engineering and Material Sciences in IIT Mumbai have done this research. They have used farm wastes for this. Researchers have claimed that they have created graphic oxide from the trash created in the field, and this process is in the process of water purification chemicals. Three types of sieve have been used in this project. In the first stage, the soil is taken from contaminated water in the first phase. Some germs are destroyed in it. After this, the water flows from the graphite oxide in the second phase. This reduces most of the alkalis. After this, the water is filtered from the UV filter. After this, the students of the project said that the water was purified. From this project, the industry has the capability to make chemical water, saline or salty water, clean turbid water. All the tests that were done to make it salty and turbid water were to be feasible. The water quality has also been improved according to the standards given by the World Health Organization. Its patent is in the process of making it available commercially and soon. In this team Pvt. Abhishek Pandey, Madhurima Deb, Pranav Pawar, Souasheb Shukla, and Sumit Saxena.

Air purification equipment also developed

The capital Delhi is suffering from pollution. This problem is also being felt in some parts of Mumbai. In such cases, air purification equipment is used. However, these equipment is expensive and it is used in a variety of purposes. After complete utilization of sugarcane in IIT Mumbai, a special type of nets have been developed through remaining wastes. By this, air purification is easily possible. This tool has been developed by these students and they have the intention to make it available in the market in a cheap way.
