India vs West Indies Live Score, 1st Test Day 2: Virat Kohli Piles More Misery On Windies, India Cross 500

Live Cricket Score India vs West Indies: Virat Kohli scored his 24th century in Test cricket as India went to lunch on Day 2 with 506 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets.

Riding on Virat Kohli’s 24th century and a quickfire 92 from Rishabh Pant, India continued their dominance with the bat in the morning session on Day 2 of the first Test against the Windies at Rajkot on Friday. Scoring 142 runs at a run rate of 4.89 in the session, India went to lunch with 506 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets. Resuming on the overnight total of 364-4, both Kohli and Pant started patiently against the Windies pacers. But as soon as spin was introduced, Pant went after the bowlers hitting them all around the park. Kohli, on the other hand, played a steady knock, bringing up his century off 186 deliveries that included seven boundaries. Both stitched a 133-run partnership for the fifth wicket before Pant got out trying to go for a six off Devendra Bishoo. Ravindra Jadeja (19*) and Kohli (120*) were at the centre when umpires decided to call for lunch. The Windies bowlers put in yet another toothless performance and struggled against the Indian batsmen.
